Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Tone Corrector

When I was in aesthetics school, they had one of those black-light booth things that you put your face in to reveal the extent of your sun damage. Suffice it to say, mine was that of an 80-year-old woman living on a Polynesian island. All those years of baby-oil-sun-worshipping had gotten the best of my skin. Although I try to stay on top of my pigment issues, sometimes it is hard to do an extra step in the morning, ya know?

When I got the chance, I was so excited to try†OlayƆ Total Effects Tone Correcting UV Moisturizer. We all know how much I love Olay anyway, and new products make me giddy with excitement. The thing I love about this moisturizer is that it kills, like, 10 birds with one stone. Moisture, check. Sheer, dewy coverage, check. SPF, check. AND (you're not going to believe this), it fights all the classic signs of aging! Pesky lines, lack of moisture, uneven tone, eye puffiness, etc. The thing I was most excited about, though, is that it reduces the appearance of dark spots! Hallelujah, finally a non-abrasive product I can use daily to help fix the appearance of my sun sins!

Basically, it is the easiest thing to use. You can put it on before your moisturizer or AS your moisturizer or before your make-up or AS your makeup! I did both and the results were really amazing both times. I used it by itself and it provided just the right amount of sheer coverage and moisture to make me feel good about going out in public. I also used it under my make-up and found that it provided a really silky base that perfectly complemented my other make-up. And is it just me, or does my skin already look better? Either way, it's all very exciting.†

Now that I am saving time on my make-up and skin care regime, tell me your secrets to carving out time to take care of your skin! Leave a comment for the chance to win a $50 Visa gift card!

I stopped wearing foundation and cover all together. I wanted a more natural look but wasn’t happy with my skin just bare so I started using only moisturizer to take care of my skin but I still had to use three different products from MaryKay. Im totally switching to Olay Total Effects now though. Sounds like an amazing product!

Sounds great. I usually pick facial moisturizers that have a bit of spf in order to save time. This sounds like a great product I have to try!

I love anything that will make my skin smoother, silkier, and the fresh dewy look.
Plus I'm super lazy about doing more steps than just washing my face. This sounds easy enough and I can't wait to try it!!

Light therapy antiaging systems use LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology with a low level power output which is safe and will not damage the skin. The near-infrared light emitted by these LEDs seems to be perfect for increasing energy inside cells. This is a non-invasive treatment, unlike laser which can have adverse effect on your skin and be painful.

My morning beauty routine is quite a rush. I try to save time on my skin care routine by choosing products that have dual/multiple functions. Such as SPF-ed moisturizer or moisturized body wash, etc. The Olay Total Effects Tone Correcting UV Moisturizer sounds amazing and I need to give it a try! Thanks for the detailed review!

I fell undressed without moisturizer and use that now instead of foundation because it's not as heavy. The tinted kind is pretty and SPF is another savings of time and investment in the life of my skin.

One thing I do to save time is apply a mask 2 or 3 times a week first thing in the morning. Then it has time to work and dry while I make coffee, get clothes ready, etc. By the time I take my shower, I just wash it off in the shower and my skin feels so soft!

I try to take the time in the morning to wash my face as soon as I get up, rinse with cool water and then pat dry. I usually wait a bit until after I've had my coffee to apply moisturizer with SPF for the day. At night, I always apply moisturizer before I got to bed.
